2020 Cardedu Bianco Bucce

Bucce means 'skins,' as in macerated on the skins. This orange wine, containing Vermentino, Cannonau and Nasco, is very drinkable: sour Mirabelle plums, sea salt, and dried white flowers. It's deep and complex, with great briny/herbaceous elements and lovely texture. The floral freshness keeps it very light on its feet, while the more savory elements offer a unique expression of the orange category.
