2024 Yannick Pelletier "SOIF" VdF Rouge

Yannick Pelletier Soif is a natural red wine from the Saint-Chinian appellation in the Languedoc region of southern France. This cuvée is a blend of organically cultivated Grenache, Cinsault, and Carignan grapes, sourced from vineyards characterized by schist, clay, and limestone soils. The vines, aged between 15 and 70 years, are meticulously tended to ensure low yields and high-quality fruit. Pelletier employs manual harvesting and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine's fresh and vibrant character. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Bright ruby hue with aromatic notes of red berries, such as raspberry and cherry, complemented by subtle floral hints and a touch of spice. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied, offering juicy red fruit flavors, lively acidity, and soft tannins, culminating in a refreshing, clean finish.
