2023 Vetriccie Rouge Ile de Beaute

The red wine from Domaine Vetriccie is a tank fermented blend of 40% Niellucciu (aka Sangiovese), 30% Sciaccerellu, 20% Merlot and 10% Syrah. It "behaves" very much like a good Cotes du Rhone with a solid core of ripe berry fruit complimented by spicy, peppery and herbal notes. With soft tannin and refreshing acidity, this is a great one for warmer weather drinking.
