2023 Paros Farming Community, Seiradi Red Cuvée Topos

55% Monemvassia and 45% Mandilaria

Cuvée Topos Red is a co-fermented blend of 55 percent Monemvassia and 45 percent Mandilaria, a technique unique to the Paros PDO that allows white and red grapes to ferment together into a red wine. Fruit for this cuvée comes from vineyards between 350 and 450 meters, where sandy soils formed from granite, basalt, and gabbro keep yields low and acidity high. After several days of pre-fermentation maceration, the wine ferments slowly before resting a year in a mix of stainless steel and oak.

The wine pours a vivid purple-red, with cherry and raspberry fruit set against a savory, wilder undertone. Bright acidity and firm structure carry through to a long finish laced with pepper and dried herbs.
