2023 Château de Tourettes, Verget Au Sud Chardonnay

Château de Tourettes is a French wine icon, Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen's recent project in the Southern Rhône. After growing discontent with Burgundy's vacillating nature in the late 90s, he and his wife, Maine, decided not only to redefine this estate but also to showcase the untapped potential of the Luberon region. This Chardonnay opens with a lovely freshness, maintaining true varietal character. It is well-balanced on the palate, with richness well-supported by bracing acidity and fine notes of bitters.
