2022 Mabileau Vin de France Pineau d'Aunis Sans Les Mains

30 years-old Remy Mabileau, following the accidental death of his dad Frédéric in 2020, is now, with his mom Nathalie, in charge of the estate. His vision is anchored into the natural wine approach following the footstep of his father with whom he worked closely for 4 years.

The 35 hectares estate located in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, Bourgueil, Anjou and Saumur is certified organic since 2007 and Biodynamic since 2018. All the grapes are harvested by hand to find the utmost purity of fruits. Their search of Terroir expression is combined with an exciting wave of plantations and preservation of rare varieties from the Loire with Grolleau or Pineau d'Aunis but also from other part of France with Trousseau or Savagnin.

"Sans les Mains", translating as "Without the hands" or "Bottoms up!", is a given name intended to describe the quaffable character of this cuvee. You'll understand the implied reference to the high wheeler on the front label that drive itself without the hands.
