2022 Funaro Terre Siciliane Bianco Passo di Luna

The Inzolia grapes come from the Salemi area at an altitude of approximately 150 meters above sea level. The soil, rich in organic substance, has a silty-clayey structure. The Zibibbo grapes come from the Santa Ninfa area, at an altitude of around 400 meters above sea level. The soil, on a hilly surface, is predominantly calcareous-chalky with a good fraction of clay. The grapes are vinified separately in thermo-controlled steel wine vats at 15°C. At the end of fermentation, maturation continues at a controlled temperature, with subsequent assembly, bottling and brief refinement in the bottle.
