This wine opens with subtle smoky aromas and hints of praline, leading to incredible density and concentration on the palate, showing the smoky, yeasty complexity of 26 months on lees. Bitter lemon rind and complex citrus oils, salty savouriness and deep mineral intensity. Very well-integrated acidity and huge ageing potential. This is surely a benchmark for cru-level Muscadet, which is remarkable considering the price.
