2014 Long-Term Wine Company 'Convexity' Cabernet Sauvignon

Steve Matthiasson is a leader in California, and specifically Napa Valley, for crafting terroir-driven, refined wines from iconic vineyard sites – under his own label, as well as consulting on others, like the Long-Term Wine Company’s ‘Convexity’. Sourced from some of the best Cabernet fruit around Napa, the Convexity shows a beautiful balance between juiciness and tension, and is very much Steve’s elegant style of winemaking. Jammy and ripe black fruit and currant on the nose are met with spice and structure on the palate. Although rich in fruit, the subtle use of oak makes for a smooth yet complex wine.
